I too am gathering change from under the sofa cushions to get an M-Audio 1010LT. Eight analog outputs means I can run individual RD modules on their own dedicated faders. Very necessary for me.
Budget considerations -- along with a compulsive streak to see if I can really get cheap-cr*p hardware to work -- is what keeps bringing me back to inexpensive soundcards on my test machine (like a six-channel Sabrent for $9). And although the comparative benchmark these days is indeed digital audio and the ASI card, I'm not far removed from the days of rust and vinyl, and find even the crummiest 16-bit soundcard still has better S/N and distortion specs than most cart & cassette decks and turntables I've ever used. -ap _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rivendellaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
