Hi,

If you're on more of a budget and don't have a need for the number of
inputs / outputs that an M-Audio Delta 1010 gives you (it does give you
8 analog in's and 8 analog outs, plus the s/pdif), other options to look
at are the m-audio Delta 44 or 66

They are both essentially the same card - the 44 has analog 4 in's, 4
outs on a breakout box, the 66 has the same breakout box (4 in, 4 out)
but also has the s/pdif in and out on the card.

While I admit I've never used these cards with Rivendell, I've used the
44 and 66 in Linux and they're recognized by ALSA very similarly as the
Delta 1010 and have a decent sound (I think they're on the same /
similar chipset as the 1010). Plus I've found these used on ebay for
under $50. Not a bad price for a decent card with 4 ins and 4 outs.

Just a thought.
