KXStudio is one such "distro" based on Ubuntu with Jack preinstalled and working with Pulseaudio. There are some pointers for running Rivendell on KXStudio on the wiki (problems with the qtcurve theme).
I've been running this on all of our Rivendell setups and it has been working very well. I'd also like to try to build a live cd of our setup (maybe with remastersys) to share with others. -Daniel Bair Family First Radio Network On Sun, Feb 12, 2012 at 10:01 AM, Luigino Bracci <[email protected]> wrote: > > Subject: Re: [RDD] Recommendations on a Multimedia Distro > To: User discussion about the Rivendell Radio Automation System > <[email protected]> > Message-ID: > <CAOx8cMyPSD6UdK=6om1xryuea-dj9_o4zfedbfbjdh_-bfa...@mail.gmail.com > > > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" > > It would be nice to have a good multimedia distro, maybe based on Ubuntu or > Debian testing, coming with Jack preinstalled and working together with > Pulseaudio (maybe using pulseaudio-module-jack, so you can use Jack and > Pulseaudio applications together).
