That should be very easy to do, as long as you don't need to hear the 
music playing as you record each track (for not only would this require 
keeping an mp3 or other compressed version of every music cut, but there 
would be nightmarish latency issues to tackle).

I've already got a script that lets me upload cuts to a Rivendell system 
through a Web browser; all I need to do is add the ability to display the 
log.
