Assigning audio outputs is done through rdadmin --> edit hosts --> (your pc name) --> Edit --> RDAirPlay
Different modules can be assigned different outputs. Anyway for airplay you have the following options: Main Log Output 1 & 2 Aux Log Outpu 1 & 2 Audition/Cue Output Sound Panel First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth & Later output. Assuming your channels are mono like they are on the deltas, in reality you have 3 stereo outs (1 - 6) for the main play out with 1 stereo out (7 & 8). Lets also assume that sound card 0 is your on board sound with sound card 1 being your delta. You can find this out in Audio Resources. So here we go: channels 1-6 for main player: Set Main Log Output 1 to Card 1, Port 0 (this is actually a stereo output so would be channel 1 and 2 on your delta) Set Main Log Output 2 to Card 1, Port 1 Channels 5 & 6 can't actually be used by the main log output. Unless you want the aux log to be on those channels? In which case set Aux Log 1 to Card 1, Port 2. The main and aux logs work on a first come first served basis by default. So if no sound is playing output 1 is used, if sound is playing on 1 then 2 is used. This is only in live assist or manual mode. In auto I believe its all on the one fader. channel 7 and 8 for sound panel: Set all sound panel outputs to card 1 port 4 on board soundcard for previewing: Set Audition/Cue to Card 0 port 0 voicetracking and log editing: Go into RDLogEdit under your host settings and set: Input: Card 1, Port 0 (inputs start from 0 as do outputs) Output: Card 1, Port 4 Finally under host settings -> RDLibrary set the ins/outs to the same as rdlogedit. Please note I'm looking this up on a Rivendell 1.7 machine but I believe the screens are the same in Riv 2. Also to be awkward in Rivendell Port 0 on your sound card might not be the input/output marked as Output 1 on your sound card wiring bundle so you might have to get your Sherlock hat out and poke around a bit.
