I didn't set up my serial port before setting up Switchers GPIO. The only thing I've been able to confirm is that the DIP switches on the SS 8.2 are correctly set (switches 4 and 5 are on, and all others are off -- I'm planning on controlling everything with macros and ST/SA/SR commands from RML). How do I know that the SS 8.2 is talking with the computer? with Ubuntu? with Rivendell? The instructions mention: Driver Name: BroadcastTools SS8.2 Do I need a driver to use this device? If so, where can I get it? (I can't find drivers listed anywhere.)
