Hi there,
I have a question regarding Tryphon binaries, which I found really
useful. Anyone uses them?
Just a couple of things. I remember I tested them on a fresh Ubuntu
11.04 Desktop 32bit and everything went good. It was a stand-alone
machine and it loaded everything correctly.
Now I tried to setup these .deb on a fresh Ubuntu 10.04LTS Server
64bit and after all I came up with this...

- Unable to start Rivendell system daemons!
Well... I followed its simple instructions, installed MySQL, then
binaries and when I fired RDAdmin I was able to create the Rivendell
database, but I couldn't log in because of that daemons thing. I
logged out and then logged back in, but nothing changed.
Any suggestion? Do you think is a chwon/chmod problem?

- I also noticed that even if I asked for a specific Linux user
('rduser' as suggested in the pkg configure) it didn't create that and
in rd.conf it wrote the user who launched the "sudo apt-get install
rivendell"... Should I create that 'rduser' before install Rivendell?

Apart from that I was guessing: considering they separated 'rivendell'
from 'rivendell-server'.. in case I have setup a server machine, msyql
server, nfs serevr, apache server (but no rivendell package in there)
etc.. for a simple playout-workstation (with client mysql/nfs/apache)
would the simple 'rivendell' package be enough to play
music and manage library?

Thank you in advance

Alessio
