>>When you import from Music or Schedule systems you need EVENT's in the LOG to accept the import data which tells RD 'What to Play" at that event.
Yes I understand this and do use this to import the music log. I have one event scheduled in a clock that takes up a full hour and contains an 'import from music log' setting in it - works a treat. >> Just what are you trying to achieve? I'm looking for a way to schedule timed events from within my music scheduling software and import them into Rivendell as part of the overall music log. I want to avoid having to include a soft/hard timed event inside a Rivendell hour clock and instead prefer to schedule timed events externally. I've seen this question asked on the listserv before but as yet no one has definitively answered it. Fred? Cheers, Paul.
