Thanks very much for your reply, Fred!

I wish we could afford a more updated version of an AudioScience card.
We've got this card loaned to us, as we're a not-for-profit, grassroots
organization with very little money ... for example, our broadcast computer
was given a new lease on life when we rescued it from a computer
reuse/recycling outfit at a cost of about $100. The new ram we put in this
computer (Dell Precision 360 or 380) costs us more than the computer
itself. Of course we also got new hard drives.

I know, it sounds crazy, and maybe it is, but, on the other hand, we feel
we've done some incredible things with hardly any budget. Our hope is that
as listeners become supporters, our future budget will allow us to purchase
more up-to-date -- and hence more compatible and easier to configure --
hardware.

We'll see, however, about other options that we can pursue. We'd really,
really like to be able to use the Centos/Rivendell appliance as my
understanding is that some of the things we need to do, e.g., automate
downloads of RSS feeds may work better for us with this newer version.

And again, many, many thanks for you and all the others whose hard work
make projects like ours even possible!

Regards,
Rene
