Mostly Suse 11.2 however I have a couple of slack workstations and a couple
debian. Repository issues have not concerned me as there is nothing I need
to update. Workstations run Rivendell and that's it.

to compel me to update is that the Opensuse repositories disappeared. Suse
seems to like to turn out lots of new os releases then turn off the
repositories. I am in process with that update, looking into Centos, sounds
encouraging since it is a Redhat product. :( . What flavor of Linux are
you running?
