Most of my Rivendell installs have been stand-alone boxes; however, one
station I consult has multiple Rivendell workstations sharing a central
MySQL database and /var/snd on a server.

They want to upgrade from RD 1.7.2 to Rivendell 2.x.

I understand that RD 2.x uses Apache to access /var/snd. But should I:

1) install Apache on each workstation and let it access /var/snd through
the existing NFS mappings? or

2) install Apache on the server? And if so, how do I tell each
workstation's Rivendell where to find it?

Currently /var/snd on the server is owned by nobody/nogroup. If Apache is
running on the server, should /var/snd be owned by www-data (i.e. the user
Apache runs as)?
