If you are going to use this with closures, like from a satellite
receiver, you'll want to connect your common to the HI (+5V) hole for
pull-up.  That is assuming you have normal closures that short to
ground when closed.  You'll want your inputs to be normally high for
"off", then low when the relay closes for "on".
