The ALSA drivers on Centos 5 are older and it does not use pulse audio, it a little different... I have tried updating ALSA with out much success. I might consider testing Centos 6.3 if I can't get it to work on Centos 5

Thanks

Stan

Well mine is running in Centos 6.3, not sure on the broadcast appliance since I don't have a machine to use it on, might be similar, I had to use drivers from www.opensound.com <http://www.opensound.com> and do some tweaking with pulseaudio and alsa conf files
