Hi Fred, are you able to guide me on this?

I have had no response from the group so perhaps I'm the first to ask?

I have found files in lib for export_musicplayout.cpp but am not sure how to
modify or re-compile them to achieve what I seek.

My system is running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and I have compiled Rivendell from
source.

Best, Paul.

Subject: [RDD] Music Playout Report - Rivendell v2.4.0

Hi folks I have a question hopefully someone can help me with?

How can I can add / remove fields that are output to the new 'music playout'
report that first appears in v2.4.0?

I'm looking to modify it so I can meet APRA reporting requirements for New
Zealand low power FM broadcasters as outlined below:

---

The Licensee will:

At APRA's reasonable request, furnish to APRA a certified list of each and
every musical work communicated without any exceptions or omissions
whatsoever

Such lists shall:

Be typewritten or computer printed and shall include in respect of each
musical work the name/s of the composer, publisher, form of rendition,
record manufacturer's catalogue number and the duration,

The list for each day shall state the total duration of all works
communicated on that day and the total duration of the communicated time of
that day.

---

Ideally I'd like the 'music playout' report to do the following:

- retain existing fields in the current report but..
- remove the 'cut' field
- add 'publisher' 'composer' 'user defined' fields to the line by line
output
- have the ability to optionally include 'client' 'agency' fields as well to
the line by line output
- have the report provide a total audio length 'a-len' broadcast for each
calendar day (or part of day generated by the report)
- have the report provide a total duration of the time period covered by the
report

I think the above tweaks would address my music reporting licensing needs.

Any help / info on how to achieve the above would be appreciated.

Best, Paul.
