Hi, Riv will resample if your system is set to 44.1 during the import.
When you export out of Nextgen you get a bunch of wav files (can't remember if they were mpeg containers or not) and corresponding XML to go with it. I wasn't aware of the importers in Riv so I ended up making my own hacky version in a bit of java. If you don't have much luck with the importers I'll try and dig out what I have.
