A system NEVER acts randomly unless the RND statement used in a lookup in the database generates an eof() situation in certain situations. It could be a good idea for both of you to exchange RD version and hardware specs, Linux distro, MySQL version? With this limited info it is impossible to answer.

Hi Dan, You are not alone in this occurring. I have the same thing and I have 5 radio networks running and they all just randomluy shut down for no reason. This has only been happening with the lattest version of RD, the older versions did not do this. It was once suggested that perhaps there are weird characters in the song titles. Also do you have title streaming working? i.e icecast or shoutcast as I have found this causes RD to randomly shutdown. I have since disabled title streaming but have the same problem whereby it just randomly shutdown down. Any advice would be much appreciated.
