I know cd's are now more than 30 years old and really far from the specs we have now at studios, but I was not aware of the large adoption of 48k as default for broadcast. Here at my town we still some the most part of radio stations running Audio Vault using MP2 at 32khz. That's bad. Not a great gain from 44.1 to 48k in terms of frequency range, less then 2khz bandwidth, but it's a beggining. Cheers great Fred!
