Hi,

Not sure what wiki you're looking at but:

http://rivendell.tryphon.org/wiki

I updated my Debian 6 section in 2013, the install from source is still good for Ubuntu and Debian 7. Having said that its much easier to use the appliance DVD or if you're set on Debian/Ubuntu or others then use the tryphon repos and do a simple apt-get install rivendell rivendell-server

As an aside, I work for a SW station broadcasting to India and Pakistan. Its hard to get accurate listener figures but we deal with 1,000 - 2,000 phone calls a day to a UK number which considering the cost to the listeners isn't too shabby (about the same in emails although we're primarily an offline audience).

Regards,

Wayne

Yes the wiki appears to be last updated back in 2011 (back then they
promised
a technical manual and it still has not been written to this day)

Seems like alot of people want to use the system but not give back to
it, then
again the primary users are probably web only stations with 15
listeners, so i
can see it not being a priority and them treating it as " i got my system up
and running now im outta here"

But then again we have a wealth of info from 2006 stored up, we would
be happy
to share it once we get ours online, but thats the fight to begin with,

I also found a mailing list at
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/rivendell-dev

but sadly it seems to have been abandoned as well,

could you imagine if EVERY station (or "station") that used this gave
something back how much more powerful the information would be for everyone
else

:(
