Well, Google is Evil. Let's not forget that. Call me quirky, but I'm disinclined to give away stuff to people who sell my information and I don't get a say in it or even a kickback. Also, they aren't exactly trustworthy in other ways. Years ago the had something called The Wave, a sort of sharing environment. I goofed around with it for a bit to see what it was like. I grew to depend on it and then Google shut it it down because it wasn't making money fast enough for them. Didn't there used to be a Redmine app in the Rivendell armamentarium at some point somewhere? There's a bit of everything in Redmine. Its searchable, it has email notification of developments, if you want, or nothing, or wikis, or a bunch of stuff.
