Hello Pedro, I think I just heard the same phenomenon on our station. Also running 2.9.0. There was no overlapping between songs, the first one having a segue out set. The first song faded out, and the second one only started when the fade out was complete.
I'm not 100% sure, but your messages definitely ring a bell with what I just heard. Hoggins!
