Yesterday I discovered that some files I had imported into Rivendell (2.5.5) from an AudioVault system were playing distorted. Evidently, feeding MP2-encoded files directly into rdimport doesn't always produce a clean import.
I would like to try re-importing them by decoding them to linear .wav and then feeding them to rdimport.
Have any of y'all encountered this problem? Is there a particular decoder y'all prefer?
