Hi, Forgive me if you've answered this already, but do you happen to be using Jack?
I ran into something similar tonight on my test machine - audio stopped playing and RDAirplay crashed. For me - it turned out to be that Jack didn't have enough resources. On my test box I have RDAirplay playing through Jack, and the audio gets routed through Jack Rack and Jammin to add some processing. By increasing the buffers (frames/period setting in QjackCTL) from 512 to 1024 it seems to have fixed the problem. Otherwise it was just crashing - RDAirplay and CAED would crash, the only way to bring it back was with a sudo /etc/init.d/rivendell stop sudo /etc/init.d/rivendell start then restart RDAirplay On this machine I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 with Rivendell compiled from source, Ubuntu packages for Jackd and all, and an M-Audio Delta 410 set to use a sample rate of 48000 This might not be the same issue as you're experiencing, but if you're running with Jack then it might be worth looking at those settings. > > Hello, > Once again rdairplay quit unexpectedly.
