I have 4 machines running CentOS 6.6 and Rivendell-2.10.2. Two are workstations and the other two are configured with Aman. The workstations are pointing to the Master server in rd.conf and they are working correctly. The two servers are working with the Audio Store and Data Base replicating. The problem is the Server Manager Applet is not launching like it's supposed to.
The "Rivendell Server Manager" is available in system tools but it does not work. After you click on it and enter the root password, you get the message "The exec() call failed". The only way to get the applet to run is to run it a terminal (not root). My question is how do I get the Server Manager to work from System Tools? Another question is how to make RDSelect work correctly. After entering rdselect in a terminal on a workstation the applet appears showing your choices but the "Slave" machine is not a choice. The documentation is not clear how RDMonitor and RDSelect are supposed to work. I do not have anything entered in the "Audio Store" section of rd.conf if that has any bearing to either of these problems. Is anyone familiar with this system?
