I finally did what I should have done from the beginning. I made a sample file with obviously different info on the left and right tracks. Then I was able to tweak the envy24control as you (Lorne) said to get the right settings.
I confess I still don't understand envy24control. But I have it working the way I want it. Today there is a big college football game and lots of people driving through the area. I have day's log running as a programming and system test. Thanks for everyone's help!
