It was not clear to me whether you are importing somebody else's
files, or just ripping your own CD's.  Sounded like the latter since you
mention trying Rip CD.  There are at least 2 ways to rip a CD (with any
ripper) that will import tag info correctly:  rip to FLAC and import the
FLAC file which conveys the tag info perfectly; or rip to WAV and MP3,
import the MP3 which populates the tags, then overwrite the imported
file in RDLibrary by importing the correct WAV file of the track.

  We do the latter as we already deal with WAV, MP2, and MP3 formats and
want to avoid introducing yet another format into the mix, since all the
workers are part-time volunteers and memories about procedural matters

  IMO, command line importing is much easier and definitely quicker than
using the Library GUI.  At the moment, segue markers are not properly
set using the rdimport command, but can be corrected by applying
rdmarkerset.
