After installing the CenoOS 6 Appliance on an Intel NUC last night, I
found that the OS couldn't see the NIC, so today I'm installing the CentOS
7 Beta Appliance. CenbtOS 7 does see the NIC, so that problem is solved.
However, I notice that the Beta Appliance uses MariaDB instead of MySQL. I
want to use this machine on a network including several other Rivendell
workstations that use MySQL. Are there any interoperability issues between
MySQL and MariaDB, or are the two basically clones of each other?
