Rivendell can run on Raspberry Pi but setting it up is non-trivial. Unless someone has made a precomplied istallation package available since I last tried it, you will have to compile Rivendell from source. You will probably also have to compile QT3 from source since thatisn't part of Debian any more.

I've been asked about the possibility of making a presentation of Rivendell
to a Linux user group. I don't have access to much in the way of a portable
Linux machine right now, so I thought about picking up a Raspberry Pi for
the purpose. I remember seeing some posts on the subject, so I know it can
be done. I figured I'd get an RPi 3 to use the builtin Bluetooth and WiFi. I
only need local playback and no recording, so I thought I'd just use a cheap
set of Bluetooth speakers to handle audio output. This won't have to run
long, so I was thinking of using a USB flash drive for audio storage. Can
this be done using Raspbian, or should I load a full Debian package? What
size SD card should I use to adequately hold everything? I haven't been
really keeping up with the Debian repo issue, so I think I will probably
just try to compile from source. Can someone please give me the Cliff Notes
version of setting this up?

Thanks,
Michael
