I’ve learned (the hard way) that if I attempt an _a la carte_ installation of various packages willy-nilly, there’s *always* going to be something forgotten, plus all of the other stuff (disabling SELinux, configuring reports so something friendly than vi(1) gets used, etc, etc, etc) doesn’t get done at all.
