Are the originals PCM or MPEG? For PCM originals, I would expect a modest file 
size *decrease* (about 9%) for that operation. If you’re coming from MPEG, you 
may need to insert an extra stage in your resampling process to re-encode to 
MPEG after the resample (though you might want to think twice before going back 
to MPEG, as that will entail an irreversible loss of quality in the original 
audio).
