Per Fred from a post from 2008:

Click the 'Reports' button on the Edit Log screen in RDLogEdit, select 'Log
Listing', then click 'Generate' to produce a log listing.  By default, the
system will use 'vi' to display that on Linux, or 'notepad' on Windows, but
that can be overridden by setting up the $VISUAL variable in your environment
to point to the editor of your choice ('kwrite' being a popular one on
Linux).
