Some things to check: 1) Permissions. The files should be owned by the user and group specified by the ‘AudioOwner=‘ and ‘AudioGroup=‘ parameters in the [Identity] section of rd.conf(5) (‘rivendell’ if you’re using the standard CentOS packages) and set to mode 0660 or 0664. 2) Encoding. If the files are MPEG layer II (use file(1) to check), verify that your play-out device can handle that encoding (RDAdmin->ManageHosts->AudioResources.
