Which, depending on the specific scenario, can actually be a very powerful 
*advantage*!

X11vnc is basically the ‘swiss army knife’ of things VNC on Unix-ish systems. 
Like with most powerful things, that also means that it’s important to read and 
understand the docs (fortunately quite comprehensive in the case x11vnc) before 
using it. It is rather easy to create gaping security holes with it if you do 
not understand what you are doing.
