It's been quite a few years since I've played with RD. I was just refreshing my
knowledge of the ROG on the audio meters. Are they peak based again? They used
to be more RMS based didn't they? I remember once upon a time they were -20dBFS
for 0VU or are they back to -16?
Also does RDImport pull in Simian tags such as segue and intro, hooks etc... by
default or does this have to be done by special instruction?
The last time I used RD, maybe back in 2012(ish) I learn't the hard way that if
you find down the track you have a corrupt database backed up it was a
nightmare to sort when it was time to recover a bad system. That's why I
switched to Simian Lite. All the details of the cuts went with the audio for
easy re-import. Has there been any development along this line with RD for
making such recoveries or exporting and re-importing files with a bunch of meta
data easier?
