This happened to me too. I had a linux friend format the unassigned space, set up a symbolic link to the new /var/snd, moved all files over, and all was well.....except it will no longer load the next day's log. So every night just before midnight I have to manually load log. Been doing this for over a year now. I suspect there's a path or SQL path that doesn't acknowledge the new /var/snd
