Tim,

it has been a while since I was involved in WO but here are a few thoughts
from old memories... (We used to have a small RD system to backup a WO
system.)

I am going to make some assumptions. Correct as needed and adjust. If they
don't apply or work for you, things may get more complicated.

I am going to assume you only need to have one station down at a time.
Having all 6 down at a time is a bit more complicated.

This meets my recollections. One gotcha though is that the cart numbers
will end up different. This will complicate your Music Master situation.

Music Master can work with RD but you will likely need a new database to
match the new cart numbers. I know they will work with you if you are
converting, I don't know if they will want a new license to let both work
side by side. I would imagine it could be possible to create a database
outside of rd and wo to keep matching cart numbers and then a program to
take a log generated for wo and convert to one that can work with rd.

That external database mentioned above could also prove useful here in
matching traffic cart numbers between both systems.

Suggested plan of action for a first attempt.

Phase 1.
1. Setup 1 standalone rivendell box.
2. Import wo carts for one station to that rd box.
3. Skip music master for now and create simple clocks to let rd's music
scheduler schedule things.

Phase 2 (option a)
(option a will only allow for 1 station to be down at a time.)
1. Import the music for each remaining station to a different group on the
rd box from Phase 1.
2. Create simple clocks for each station to let rd's music scheduler
schedule things.
(option b)
(option b will allow for 6 stations to be down at the same time.)
Execute Phase 1 five more times using a new rd machine for each station.

If this seems sufficient, good, if not, say where and what you are thinking
and I will try and provide more help.
