I looked over the diffs in the commit messages for the files I felt I knew something about, they looked ok.

Has anyone had a chance to look at the docs (for AR1) in svn?

Except for updating the Release Notes -- we've completed (thanks
to Frank) a first pass on updating the docs in svn.

Would really appreciate folks taking a look and asking any questions
or exposing any issues they see.

thanks much -Jim

We've got some work to do to finish the documentation in the release.

Do you need more helping hands?

Thanks Bob.

We're taking an initial cut at it... and when we complete it would be
*really* helpful for a number of people to take a look and see where
we messed up. There are certainly nuances to changing or leaving
"Jini" to "Apache River" in the docs. There's also dealing with "Jini
Community", links to other places, getting rid of the "starter kit from
Sun Microsystems", etc.

Should be done soon - and then we'll send a note out for more eyes
at the problem. Thanks again.

And it is that way today. We are tricked by hope into starting
companies, beginning books, immigrating to this country and investing
in telecom networks. The challenges turn out to be tougher than we
imagined. Our excessive optimism is exposed. New skills are demanded.
But nothing important was ever begun in a prudential frame of mind.
