Benson,

To include code that wasn't covered under the original SGA from Sun Microsystems, I need to submit a sub project proposal, most importantly the code provenance has to be satisfied, I'm not proposing a sub-community, just requesting assistance, everyone is welcome.

I've abandoned any ideas of continuing the Jini Surrogate Architecture implementation, since I haven't been able to satisfy the code provenance rules, despite the code being released under the Apache License 2.0 and covered by a Patent Non-Assertion Covenant.

Regards,

Peter.

Folks,

The Board does not like subprojects in the sense of separate
subcommunities. You are welcome to add some more real estate to your
subversion tree, and vote in more committers, but a committer should
be a committer, period.

I propose we add a new sub project for the Jini Lookup, Discovery and Join
Kit.

The kit plays an important role assisting developers to test their new Jini
Service implementations.

I would be one initial committer, I need at least one other committer to
assist me, any volunteers?

The code is available, see River-32.
