I hope that, if I go ahead with this, I'll be able to get feedback on requirements. The basic concept, as I understand it, is to make a JavaSpace go on operating correctly even in the face of a server failure.

Do you need to bring in a new server to replace a failed server, to maintain the same level of redundancy, without shutting down the JavaSpace?

I would welcome pointers to articles that discuss the issues.

Would you do your JavaSpace operations under control of transactions?
