I asked in the past this list whether we deemed moving to some other
cooperative development environment (...GitHub or any other community)
as best fit for Rivet. The module is stable, maintained, I still use it
but I don't see a future for large applications that may adopt it.
I'm also the Rivet's Debian package maintainer and I noticed a sudden
drop from ~20 to 12 in the number of installations during the last year
(it peaked at 25 in 2022).
Don't laugh at me: I know it was a very small number anyway but you have
voluntarily participate to the Debian popularity contest (by installing
the same name package) in order to have your package installation data
uploaded so I speculated the figure could actually be larger, even
though far from other popular web development languages
it may be a statistically biased inference given the very small numbers
but I feel something is happening: in the last year the drop has been
fast whereas the same number had been stable for many years....
