Hi folks. Using a source based distro (http://www.lunar-linux.org/index.php) and one of things it does is a sha1sum on downloaded tarballs and compares that result with a previously generated sha1sum.
We have a module in our repository for rkhunter and the source version plus sha1sum was updated on 20060930. The sha1sum we computed back then was; 35211b28f7cb7eed6369dac05debb5abde45f0a5 Well those two values do not match for rkhunter-1.2.9 as I tried to download it today. The scripts we use generate a sha1sum from the file downloaded before it is installed and that value is; 42d2125f5c145ee77c162d6d5cca50e06af7a3a0 Have there been changes to that version since it was released? I am fairly certain the issue is not file corruption on download since this is the only instance I am having of sha1sum's not matching.
