I'm sorry to say this but we removed the functionality for supplying an alternate root directory long time ago, we even asked on the mailing list, because nobody was actively using it. >From the FTimes author there is a tool that allows you to securely download and execute remote "packages" locally by using a single binary: http://webjob.sourceforge.net/WebJob/.
