i've updated some of the ubuntu packages in my repository today. don't worry,
i won't announce every new upload here, because you will of course get new
packages automatically with the next upgrade ;-)
but i would like to let you know that i've added amd64 builds for jaunty (both
official ubuntu R and the newer cran version). the dependencies of those
packages now reflect the R version they were compiled for, to minimize
trouble. jaunty is the only release i've updated so far.
btw., is R 2.8.1 somewhat broken? cat(R.home('include')) doesn't give the
correct value on my machines (i fixed that with a cmake option in the rules
file -- odd though). you don't have to worry about that when installing the
package, it just complicated the build.
