now that beta 2 is behind us [i hope you all have tried it out!] i want
to tell you what's going to be happening to redmond linux between now
and final release.  so here's the roadmap.  i'm sharing it with you all
to get your feedback.  i need to know; is there anything obviously
missing?  something you feel you can't live without?  please let me
know, because if it doesn't go on this list IT WON'T MAKE IT IN THE
RELEASE.

ongoing:
fix bugs!  [if you have found bugs you haven't told me about, they won't
get fixed!  tell me about them!]

by beta 3:

add software install wizard
add managed services configuration
add digital camera support
remove openlinux/caldera references
finish windows installer

by code complete:

finish online help
add easter egg
add shutdown splashscreen
add registry editor

waiting for caldera:

config programs
i810 support
SiS6326 support

waiting for linus torvalds:

final 2.4 kernel

by ship date:

add HCL to web site
add support section to web site
add prices to web site
