Joe,
Install was a flash(as expected) and I decided to do something different. I
set an account for my wife--who uses windows (and is comfortable with the
old"if I click on it I want it to work") anyway I didnt do much except config
the dhcp and set her on the login window thats it.
I had her come in and start the system and didnt offer any help other than
tell her to click on "her" icon and tell her what her password was. She
logged on and was a user---now her comments
 1. why do I have to sit here and watch all the printed stuff come up(Linux
boot) I just look at the picture on my computer--what does all this mean and
should I read it??
 2. why does the start icon get so big when I move over it---she went to the
shutdown window virtually every time she clicked on the start(KDE) icon
because she is used to clicking on the windows start for the menu--when she
clicked on the KDE icon it was so big she couldnt see she was clicking on the
shutdown
  3. I cant find where to play the MP3s?---she found the cd recorder and
volume control but couldnt "find" an mp3 player ("like winamp")
  4. now my comments---she did manage without any problems create a document
surf the web and make a folder so ease of use was good for her with just the
exceptions noted above---I asked her if she would use this system and was
comfortable with it and she replied it was "ok" she didnt like going to the
shutdown menu each time she tried to do something and she couldnt find an MP3
player but other than that she thought she could use it without getting upset.
When I asked if she could be productive with it she replied that it didnt
seem too difficult and maybe with a little time she could but she didnt like
the log off button everytime(she always came baack to that and the MP3 player!
In any case I will play with it later and give you my initial comments

                                     Thanks,
                                      A J
