thanks for your comments. these are the types of comments we need.
re: printed stuff on boot. perhaps i can remove some of the printed stuff. what
do others on this list think? do we have the right amount of detail, too much
detail, or not enough?
re: large "K" icon: my wife likes the large K. but i can see how having the
"logout" at the bottom could be confusing. possible changes:
1] make the "K" less large. go to K->configure redmond linux->look
& feel->panel->buttons and uncheck "enable icon zooming" while logged in as her.
click ok. see if she likes that better. does she?
2] move the "logout" somewhere else. maybe put some space between the "K" and
logout. would this be better?
re: mp3 player: it's at K->Listen to Music, Watch Movies->Watch MPEG Movies,
Listen to MP3's. did she not find this? perhaps the menus are too confusing.
or did she try it and couldn't get it to work? more detail please.
