Afternoon info....

When shutting the system down, script reports system shutdown.
However, it does NOT indeed shut it down totally. The system is still
running, even though Linux has unloaded itself and sits waiting for a
disconnect signal...

I loaded kmix to see if I could control the sound with it.. i.e.
volume, which I don't have any of and get the same failure mode as
from the sound control...
That is: "soundserver fatal error, cpuoverload, aborting"

Am anxiously waiting on loading Opera...

Oh yes, when I loaded Licq, the window froze on the desktop. I had to
do a Ctrl+Alt+Bckspce to reboot the system. I had a backup of my
settings from SuSE. I checked and there was the .licq dir in my home
dir, so I loaded the settings into it after freezing the setup on my
desktop 3 times. Once the settings were transfered, all was well.
Cannot explain why, when trying to do the set-up, after registering,
that the window would freeze...

Thats all I have for now. Oh yes, another question, I know openoffige
is done under GTK, but will I be able to load the binary here of the
latest build, or am I missing all the necessary gtk files????/
