Can anyone help me find out why suddenly the sound server fails on KDE startup?
I get an initialization error on the sound driver (which itself is loaded) and then "... inappropriate ioctl for device". The sound driver itself seems okay, because CDs will play, but no sound files. I've searched the 'Net and not found anything of use. Thanks, Marcus - -- rl-users list.
