Hi Joe:

Finally got up and running. The suggestion didn't work, so I simply
reinstalled and now it works :) Not sure why it didn't work before, but
I suppose something just didn't get set up correctly on the first
attempt. This time it went without a hitch.

The gui is great! There are limited options at this point, but I think
that's probably ok if you are trying to market to the Windows user. It
has more of a windows look and feel than the other distributions I've
tried.

I would strongly recommend that it not be run on anything less than a
Pentium II or III, however. I am on a Pentium 166 with 94 mb ram and it
is a lot slower than Mandrake or Suse (well maybe not slower than Suse!)
I think one of the features that may slow it down is the XP like built
in viewers (can read or view without opening).

Mandrake affords a few more options that I like (I prefer Abiword to
KWord) or I would put it on my Pentium II 266 and see if I could get a
dual boot with ME, like Mandrake does. How do you set up a dual boot,
by the way?? Does it get configured automatically at install?

Well, off to play some more! Thanks for your help.

Sandy
