Am gasit:
Interval expressions are only available if either --posix or
--re-interval is specified on the command line.
Asta inseamna ca dracia de mai sus se poate rescrie ca:
gawk --posix '{gsub( "(-[^-]*){2}$" , ""); print}'
(mawk nu stie de interval).
