I am sure some people will disagree with me on this, but I perfer to install Linux or 
BSD on SCSI disks whenever possible, as I'll notice the speed increase. As for 
headaches, I think both IDE and SCSI are about the same for install.

Use the grub bootloader that comes with RH7.3. It should be able to handle your NT 
partition w/o problems.
